Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences provides education, training and R&D activities with distinguished faculty members who have earned their degrees from notable universities around the globe. Such a goal is particularly important to achieve at a time when all of humanity, be it at an individual, societal or state level, are immersed in the further discovery and use of complex subjects such as nanotechnology, space travel, genetic copying and digital money, and during an era when the speed and scope of information transfer and sharing has reached unprecedented levels.
The curriculum (course and content) of our departments, prepared based on the needs of our country and in view of curricula from contemporary universities worldwide, are purposefully designed to contribute to the present and future technological know-how and human resource needs of our nation and the world. Although we are a young and dynamic university, our student/faculty ratio is in a good level in national scale among its counterparts. We have no shortage of lecturers specialized in their field and in the content of the courses they are giving. Our faculty harbors an interactive educational environment and efficient knowledge transfer that is made possible with good instructor accessibility. Our commitment to maintain effective communication and student satisfaction is actively pursued by paying special attention to feedback from members of our student body and alumni. A strong R&D base and technological capability are fundamental elements needed to be able to compete effectively on a national or international arena today. It is with this understanding that the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, together with its faculty, students, and partners in the industry carry out, effectively and competitively, its mission to contribute to technology and the advancement of our community.
