Examination Rules

1. All students must take their exams in the announced exam halls. Each student must take the exam in the classroom where their name is written, by checking the names written on the doors of the classrooms.

2. Student ID cards will be kept on the desks during the exam time. Students who do not have a student ID card with them should notify the exam invigilator before the exam starts.

3. The student is responsible for the writing and scribbling on the desks. If these writings and scribbles cannot be erased before the exam starts, this should be reported to the exam invigilator.

4. Students cannot keep books, notebooks, lecture notes or any kind of electronic/ communication devices above and below the desks.

5. After receiving the exam question papers student shall check whether the questions are missing and whether there are printing errors. If any, this should be reported to the exam invigilator.

6. During the exam, exchange of calculators, pencils, erasers or pens, etc. between the students is prohibited.

7. Exam attendance sheet must be signed by the students with a ballpoint pen. Students who do not sign the exam attendance sheet cannot leave the exam hall until they sign it.

8. A student who leaves the exam hall, for whatever reason, cannot enter the exam hall again until the end of the exam.

9. Students cannot leave the hall for the first 15 minutes and the last 5 minutes of the exam.

10. It is forbidden for the students who have finished the exam to gather in the corridors until the end of the exam, to speak loudly and to make verbal comments about the exam questions until they leave the corridor.

11. Disciplinary actions will be taken against students who cheat, try to cheat, take the exam instead of another student, cheat or help cheat during the exam, depending on the relevant regulations.

12. Exam invigilator(s) are responsible and authorized for the smooth running of the exam. During the exam, students must obey all the warnings of the exam invigilator(s). Exam invigilator(s) can change the students' places if they deem it necessary, and can remove students from the exam hall who behave contrary to the exam rules.

13. Students who will take the exam are deemed to have read and understood all the rules stated above.
