Solidarity with Palestine, Education for Future Project
Palestinian students were provided Turkish language training within the scope of “Solidarity with Palestine, Education for Future” project in cooperation with Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU) and HAK-IS Trade Union Cooperation. Palestinian students were awarded certificates during the ceremony, organized by AYBU.
Our rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz KÖSEOĞLU, AYBU Secretary-General Asst. Prof. Mümin ŞEN, DİLMER Director Lect. Bünyamin OĞUZ, Chairman of HAK-IS Trade Union Cooperation Mr. Mahmut ASLAN, Secretary-General of HAK-IS Trade Union Cooperation Ms. Eda AKBULUT and Assistant Secretary General Mr. Hamdi Abdullah KOÇOĞLU participated in the certificate award ceremony of the Turkish Language Courses, organized within the scope of “Solidarity with Palestine, Education for Future” Project. Chairman of HAK-IS Trade Union Cooperation, Mr. Mahmut ASLAN, by putting the emphasis on the Project, indicated that standing by the Palestinian people is a historical responsibility. Our rector Prof. Dr. Al Cengiz KÖSEOĞLU also stated that AYBU is ready to enhance convenience of any kind for the Palestinian students.
Chairman of HAK-IS Trade Union Cooperation, Mr. Mahmut ASLAN, by putting the emphasis on these kind of projects, stated during the ceremony that “ The more we can develop this project, especially for our students in need in Istanbul, the more we can take an important step for our Palestinian brothers and sisters”. Arslan expressed that the cooperation with AYBU came to frutition and that they are ready to embrace cooperation for different kinds of fields as well.
Our rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz KÖSEOĞLU, by indicating the readiness of AYBU to provide any kind of support for the Palestinian students, expressed that “We performed many activities during my rectorateship but this was really one of the most meaningful ones. As AYBU, we tried to give logistical support, satisfy needs and provide convenience for the incoming Palestinian students. In other words, according to our point of view and with the ansar perspective, you are our brothers and sisters so we are ready to do our share with this motivation. HAK-IS Trade Union Cooperation gave off its best and took on responsibility in this sense. HAK-IS Trade Union Cooperation is already our sister institution. It is an institution that our vision and mission overlap. I congratulate you on the level you achieved”.
DİLMER Director Lect. Bünyamin OĞUZ also expressed his appreciation for the successful finalization of the Project. Certificates and awards were delivered to students who performed well during the courses and examinations.
