The Faculty has a target to generate an environment for educating people to be the best qualified individuals who are able to analyze and question the new forms of local and global relationships within the local to national, regional to international framework, to take strategic desicions in critical times, to think in a change-oriented perspective which would enable Turkey to strengthen its position in regional and international arena in the new century. In addition to that, the faculty aims to educate individuals for having social responsibilities, will and abilities to live in competitive environments not only in Turkey but also all around the world. Our education system intends to break up the mentality of exam-oriented programs and strives to go beyond of this mentality.
For this aim, we give efforts on providing a convenient atmosphere that academic staff would lead their students to reach the best success.
Our faculty regards its departments such as political science, international relations, economics and finance as parts of a whole. It has such an interdisciplinary approach that not only would students specialize in their own department, they also understand and commend other departments of the faculty.
It is possible to place our faculty in a distinct position by comparing its facilities, goals and its approach to its own field with these of the same faculties of other universities. The faculty gives priority on training its students to have a high ability of reading and consider the obsticles as opportunities.
