Today, the need for qualified scientists have been increased due to developments in the field of information and technology, seeking scientific-based knowledge, the need for qualified manpower working in the field and the increase in the number of students. In this respect, it is important to train qualified scientists - who can respond to the developing needs of society through scientific research, contribute to science at national and international level, are self-confident and sensitive to the problems of the country. The Health Sciences Institute carries out studies with this perspective. In this context, our aim is to train qualified manpower that produces science in health, researches new information, and contributes to social change and a healthy society by adhering to scientific criteria. Our priorities in achieving these goals are to train scientists who think critically, use evidence-based information, can solve problems, communicate effectively, are open to change and innovation, produce original knowledge, have leadership characteristics, and are sensitive to ethical principles and national values. In this direction, the primary goals of our Institute are to improve postgraduate education policies, to create qualified academic programs, to provide our students with high-level academic and professional skills by providing learning environment with master's and doctoral programs. The activities of our departments, which carry out the education and training processes under the roof of our institute, contribute to the training of qualified professionals and researchers who are experts in their fields, which are needed by both the academy and the health sector.
32 departments and 75 programs actively continue their postgraduate education activities within the body of our institute. As of the 2022-2023 academic year, there are 818 graduate students in these programs, including 166 master students with out thesis, 378 master students with thesis and 274 doctorate students. A total of 1024 students have graduated from the postgraduate programs under the umbrella of our institute, including 431 master students without thesis, 486 master students with thesis, and 107 doctorate students.
We invite all healthcare professionals who want to do research in the field of health and academia, produce evidence based information by registering to our graduate education programs conducted by academicians who are experts in their fields.
