The event titled “Philosophy, Logic, Science, and Education in Engineering,” organized in collaboration with the Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU) Civil Engineering Society and Mühendis Akademi, was held on Friday, October 16, 2026, as part of the CE 101 – Introduction to Civil Engineering course.
During the event, Mehmet Öner Yeleğen, a Senior Civil Engineer and Founder of Mühendis Akademi, met with our students.
The event emphasized that engineering extends beyond technical knowledge and practical applications, highlighting the importance of philosophical thinking, logical reasoning, scientific methods, and education in the engineering profession. Aiming to provide an interdisciplinary perspective on engineering education, the event offered a valuable opportunity for students to enhance their professional and personal development.
