Mediation

Mediation is an alternative dispute resolution method that allows the disputing parties to find their own solutions out of court with the help of a completely independent and impartial third party. With the Law No. 6325 on Mediation in Civil Disputes, which entered into force in 2012, mediation in Turkish Law has gained a legal basis.

In order to become a mediator, it is necessary to attend the Mediation Basic Training Program first and then take the mediation written exam. Our Faculty is one of the institutions authorized by the T.C. Ministry of Justice for the mediation basic training program and has been carrying out these programs since 2013.

Furthermore, our faculty is also authorized in the fields of labor law, commercial law and consumer law general expertise determined by the Ministry of Justice, as well as insurance law and construction law, and organizes mediation general and specialist training programs in these areas.

You can reach the current mediation trainings organized by our faculty here and on the Announcements section of our website.
