Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University is a state university located in Ankara.

Our faculty is in the city center of Ankara.

We call our university “AYBU” shortly, and we call our faculty “AYBU Law” shortly.

The choice of university and faculty is very important for a good legal education. Our faculty has all the necessary facilities for you to receive a good legal education.

We are aware of how important it is for lawyers to have the skills of reading, speaking, writing and listening in one or more foreign languages. For this reason, we teach at least 30% of our curriculum in English.

We also offer our students a choice of courses in German, French and Arabic. As the Law Faculty, we aim to train lawyers who establish strong connections with the whole world.

Extensive Course Catalogue

Our faculty is a law faculty that offers the most course options to students in our country.

In addition to the compulsory courses, you can choose from the many Turkish, English, German, French and Arabic law courses offered to you, completely according to your area of ​​interest.

Compulsory / main courses that form the basis of legal education in our faculty are generally in Turkish. Elective courses other than compulsory courses are generally in English. We recommend that you review our course catalog on this subject.

Modular Training

When you examine our Faculty Information Package, you will see that we have a very large pool of elective courses. We have defined and labeled elective courses in modules for you.

In the Modular Education System, when you choose and complete the elective courses from certain packages, you will receive a Modular Education Certificate in addition to your diploma at your graduation. For example, when you choose the courses from "International Law" or "Commercial and Intellectual Property Law" modules, you will also be given a Modular Training Certificate in this field along with your diploma. Thus, your specialization process in the field of law will start from your first year in the faculty.

Moot Court Competitions

Teams formed by law students, who take “Moot Court” course both in English and Turkish are prepared for national and international law competitions accompanied by our research assistants and faculty members. Our faculty teams have various awards as a team or individually within the scope of these competitions.

Applied Training Courses

As AYBU Faculty of Law, we want to prepare you in the best possible way after graduation. For this reason, we have made and continue to make various internship agreements for our students with institutions and organisations such as the Supreme Court, the Council of State and the Court of Accounts. Thus, our students have the opportunity to better educate themselves, to see the practice during their student years and to determine the field they will focus on earlier.

How to Reach our Faculty?

Direction(s): AYBU 15 July Martyrs Building, where our Faculty is located, is on the same street as the main entrance of Antares Shopping Mall in Etlik/ Ankara.

Location: For AYBU Faculty of Law (AYBU 15 July Martyrs Campus) location, please view, get directions or send it to your mobile device.

Transportation by Bus: You can reach our Faculty by bus number 261, 279 from Kizilay and by bus number 278, 277 from Sihhiye.

Transportation by Metro: You can reach our Faculty by leaving Ankara Metro M1 İvedik Station and transferring from EGO Busses number 207 or 208 (depending on the line you use, you can use the stops closest to Antares Shopping Mall or Kardesler or bus stop no. 20769, 20770 or 21552).

Transportation by Mini-bus: You can also reach our Faculty with the Kecioren - Ostim/ Batikent mini-buses.
