The AYBU CIGRE Student Community is an academic student organization dedicated to bringing together students in the fields of electrical and electronics engineering and energy, preparing prospective young engineers for the industry. Operating within the scope of CIGRE’s Next Generation Network (NGN), the community fosters students' technical and professional development across key disciplines, including electric power systems, renewable energy, smart grids, and energy policy. Through conferences, seminars, technical site visits, training workshops, and participation in competitions such as TEKNOFEST, the community aims to facilitate early industry engagement, experiential knowledge acquisition, and professional networking. Furthermore, by leveraging the national and international CIGRE network to connect students with industry experts and fellow young engineers, the organization aspires to establish AYBU as an active and leading student hub in the energy sector.
An EMRA (Energy Market Regulatory Authority) conference will be held on October 20.
All interested students are cordially invited to attend.
