Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University

 “An International Symposium on Sultan Beyazıt and Amir Timur” whose first part was held in Samarkand under the leadership of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU) on October 17-18, 2022 opened the new paths.

A protocol was signed for the period of 5 years between AYBU and History Institute of Republic of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences (Head of Uzbekistan Institute of History) at Historical Uluğ Bey Medrese of Samarkand to carry our archaeological studies especially historical researches. In the frame of the protocol in question, a cooperation will be maintained between Head of Uzbekistan Institute of History and AYBU for a period of 5 years on the issues such of carrying out joint scientific studies on general Turkish History and culture, translation and publication of written sources, organization of joint research projects, mutual educational activities of the experts, scientific meetings, conferences, research activities and exhibitions,  exchange of research materials such as books and periodicals, publication of joint scientific studies on the academic journals of both institutions.
