Management Information Systems (MIS) undergraduate programme is a multidisciplinary programme that focuses on technology, business and organisation with a human-centred approach. The aim of the field of MIS is primarily to analyse the business system to solve problems related to business and organisations, to design and develop an information system, and to implement the resulting information system.

For students who will receive education in the field of information systems as socio-technical systems, a curriculum that contributes to the acquisition of (1) technical courses such as software, hardware, programming, database management, business intelligence and data mining applications at the technical level, as well as (2) social level; problem solving skills, negotiation and influencing skills, ability to understand and respond to user/customer needs, project management experience, planning and organisational skills.

Management Information Systems is a dynamic field and aims to continuously improve people's lives and the way they do business with the help of technology. In order to understand how things work, solve problems, produce innovations, communicate and learn continuously, individuals who will work in this field are expected to be skilled in the areas of quick thinking, hard work discipline, coping with multiple tasks, stress management.
