The internship logbooks for the 2026 Summer term will be submitted in room B307 to Res. Asst. Resul SALMAN, Res. Asst. Alperen KAMAN, Res. Asst. Hatice Betül DESTİCİ, or Res. Asst. Yeşim ARSLANTÜRK against signature during working hours between 12.10.2026 and 23.10.2026.

IMPORTANT RULES:

• Before submitting their logbooks, it is mandatory for our students to define information such as the type of internship (construction site or office), the start and end dates of their internship, the name of the company, and the number of days (20 working days, etc.) via the OBS system. The internship logbooks of students who do not make the relevant definitions via OBS will strictly not be accepted.
• Students must have taken the relevant internship courses. Logbooks of students who have not taken the relevant course will not be accepted.

Other points to consider regarding internship submission and logbook preparation are as follows:

• Logbooks for compulsory internships will be submitted between the specified dates. There is no need to prepare an internship logbook for voluntary internships. However, students whose compulsory internship is considered unsuccessful will be required to fill out and submit their logbooks as in the scope of a compulsory internship by a date to be specified later.
• When preparing internship logs, students must comply with the Internship Regulations of the Department of Civil Engineering at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Internships undertaken by students who do not comply with these regulations will not be accepted. • Before the internship logbooks are submitted to room B307, they must also be sent to the e-mail address aybucivilengineering@outlook.com.
• The internship evaluation form must be submitted in a sealed envelope. The official stamp of the institution must be applied to the seal of the envelope and signed by the authorized person. The relevant envelope must be opened for the first time by the AYBÜ Civil Engineering Department Internship Commission members.
• After each page of the internship logbook is stamped, it must be signed or initialed by the authorized person. Internship logbooks of students who do not comply with this rule will not be accepted.
• The evaluation processes of the internships will be carried out in multiple stages, and if deemed necessary, an oral exam will be given to the relevant students by the Internship Commission Members.
