A cooperation protocol encompassing educational and research-and-development activities has been signed between our Faculty and the Yenimahalle District Governorate, aimed at enhancing the legal awareness of high school students in the digital sphere.
The protocol was signed by Mr. Tahsin KURTBEYOĞLU, District Governor of Yenimahalle, and Prof. Dr. Neslihan KARATAŞ DURMUŞ, Dean of our Faculty.
Within the framework of this collaboration, the objective is to raise the awareness of high school students concerning their rights and responsibilities in digital environments. Accordingly, training programs shall be organized to elevate students' awareness regarding the legal issues they may encounter in the digital world. Furthermore, the students' knowledge and awareness levels, along with the impact of the training programs on such levels, shall be analyzed through measurement and evaluation studies. The findings derived are intended to contribute to further research and development activities.
Additionally, the protocol aims to increase the awareness of school administrators regarding the legal issues they encounter during the performance of their duties, as well as the legal transactions and procedures they are obligated to execute. To this end, research and development activities will be conducted, addressing the legal liabilities of school administrators in both physical and digital environments, alongside the legal measures they can adopt when confronted with potential issues.
We hope that this protocol, which endeavors to utilize the academic expertise of our Faculty to foster digital legal literacy and legal awareness, will prove beneficial for both institutions and the educational community.
