226. Wednesday Seminar – Alternative Dispute Resolution in Islamic Family Law

226. Wednesday Seminar of the AYBU School of Law will be held by Research Assistant Mustafa Aktürk. In his presentation –titled Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Islamic Family Law, the legal nature of ADR methods within the scope of Islamic Family Law will be examined in terms of marriages that are about to end. Then dispute resolution methods in Islamic Family Law will be discussed in the context of modern ADR methods. In this direction, methods such as mediation and arbitration planned to be implemented in Turkish Family Law will be comparatively examined through an Islamic Family Law perspective, which is a different legal system.
